Centre for
Theoretical Astrophysics

Established in 2006, the Centre for Theoretical Astrophysics is a group of scientific institutions leading the astrophysical research in the Czech Republic. Its mission is to conduct a top-level science in the field of physics of compact objects, physics of galaxies, and the cosmic environment. In these fields we carry out undergraduate and graduate training.

The Centre has been formed as a nationwide endeavour of the Academy of Sciences in Prague, Charles University in Prague, and Silesian University in Opava. Read more...
